Leather industry standard seminar held

On July 23, the National Leather Quality Inspection Center held three industry standard seminars on “Leather Costumes”, “Leather Filled Liner Leather Clothing” and “Drawing Fur Clothing”. More than 30 people from the National Leather Industry Standards Committee, the China Leather Association, and relevant quality inspection agencies, manufacturing companies, and commercial organizations from Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Hangzhou attended the seminar.

The standards for leather and fur garments are an important part of the leather industry standard system. The industrial chain involved is wide and closely related to daily life. Therefore, the standard formulation work must follow the principles of combining the development of the industry with market services. This standard seminar focused on the scope, framework, technical content, etc. of the three standards and formed a standard consultation draft.

The National Leather Quality Inspection Center has done a lot of work on the determination and verification of product technical indicators, and the reference and confirmation of testing methods in the earlier period, and has accumulated a wealth of data, which has laid a solid foundation for the seminar to determine product technical indicators.

Representatives of enterprises and businesses attending this standard seminar also visited the National Leather Quality Inspection Center Laboratory and highly appreciated the opening of the laboratory that the center is holding.
